Oooh yeah if you ever get a chance to see them live, definitely do everything in your power to do so.

I saw them at Bonnaroo 07 and oooooh lawd!  It was :awesome:

My younger brother just saw them this past year at Roo too, and declared them his new favorite band.  Which is very surprising, as he was a die hard Tool/Chili Pepper fan for years before that.

There are definitely some fuck all bands being discussed in the pub.  Most of them deserve nothing more than a facepalm.  Ween easily puts them to shame.

what i find impressive about ween is each album sounds different yet you can tell it's still them. and for them to get away with the kinds of shit they do get away with is awesome. every sound they have every genre they tap into sounds natural to them and that's not an easy thing to do.
i don't really know any other band that can do that.

i was pretty pissed that they played camp bisco this cause well... a) they are better than that b)they could prolly throw their own festival and make it way better.

you obviously don't know the bisco crowd. i like it when artists stands up to something and its frustrating that bands like ween and lcd soundsystem aren"t scoffing at them and how sketchy that festival is. i would not want to be associated with those idiots.

Nope I don't really know anything about Camp Bisco....  But now that I think about it... There are always alot of douchebags at Disco Biscuit shows.  Is it just like a huge festival of those kinds of people?

basically.. imagine the shadiest, sketchiest,dumbest and i dunno has the biggest drug abuse problems on lot. Camp Bisco is their festival.

someone once looked at me when i had dreads and stuff that i didn't look like nearly enough of a crackhead to even know who the disco biscuits were.

I was so pumped to hear them, then was really let down
to know that bands who aren't really that good at their
instruments were playing extended improvised jams.
Probably just because their "scene" is huge. Sad.

I mean... it's really the only criteria you have to meet for that genre :lol:

Ween Complete Discography on Demonoid

I highly recommend White Pepper, Chocolate and Cheese, and The Mollusk

EDIT: Well, I highly recommend ALL of them, but those are three of my fav albums.

Live in Toronto is really good too
