Anyone speak ASL?

me and Laska were driving through berkeley today and we went past the adult school. She mentioned that she wanted to take a sign course there soon and wanted to know if i wanted to take it with her. So i said sure!

i took a class in high school but didnt apply myself all that much, it was right after lunch so was usually pretty baked by that time. lol.

but anyway were going to take the class and i think its a great idea, ive been trying to find something that i could do that i wouldnt feel like i was wasting my time. i could become an interpreator and they make a good bit of money but most of all id be doing something good with my time. im pretty expressive with my body language anyway.


so any signers out there in shroomery land?

My girlfriend does. Her and her bestfriend sign with each other all the time in public to speak in code. Its genius. LOL

She said she is going to teach me.

I live in a town with a large deaf population so my kids are learning it,
my son comes home from seeing a play and he starts telling me about it and
he's signing about half of what he's saying, he didnt even realize he signing

thats great. the experience signing will make learning other verbal languages easier as well.
