ADD and ADHD are two different thangs. i thank the thang you're referring to is add. as it is nearly impossible to even hold a book let alone attempt reading it if you have attention deficit hyperactive disorder :dizope:

Read up on the latest DSM-IV. It's all ADHD now, broken up into 3 subtypes.

I should know, I'm a whale biologist!

aDD isn't even a real thang compared to adhd. everyone has ADD. it's a common reaction to doin' boring thangs. or if you've become accustomed to multitasking. it's an easy thang to get out of you just need to practice spending a lot of time thankin' about one thang as opposed to thankin' about a lot of thangs in a short time

and to the standard paradigm, the words I read and the thangs I thank would seem completely unrelated

yea

u know, sometimes theres synchronous thangs goin on too, like im thinking of different thangs while reading a thang.

and so theres 2 words doin' thangs while im doin' those thangs

and sometimes the words will match up with whatever im thankin' and the words im reading.

maybe there is some subconscious/conscious thang goin on

Thanks for belittling a disorder that has been one of the single hardest things in my life to deal with.

I appreciate it. I really do.

the way i see thangs is,

ADHD is just a thang, and thangs can be worked on (doin')

so maybe all it really takes is a lot of dedication to work on instead of medication

dedication instead of medication :feelsgoodman:
