i hate spiders so much

seriously, there's nothing worse than waking up with a huge spider crawling on the wall a foot away from your face. i jumped out of bed and just about screamed like a little girl.

this house i'm renting is pretty old and it's just infested with these things. i've seen at least 5 types this week. the normal house spiders, daddy long legs, two shifty mother fuckers that spun down a web from the ceiling while i was taking a shit, and one that i swear looked like a black widow (but probably wasn't, i'm just paranoid).

idk which is worse, these or the giant house centipedes that are all over my parent's basement.

how can anyone actually like spiders? i wish they would all just DIE!

I like them.

Well they do creep me out but I think they're fascinating. And they eat flies and shit, which I find quite annoying.

yeah, honestly flies are more annoying. (most annoying)

put i am sqeamish when it comes to bugs... if i can avoid coming in physical contact (even if a boot) i'll avoid it. but if they are just creeping around and not moving on then i become disgruntled and kill them but... only after enough of just try to shoo it away.

too bad i can't pull the ol slip the spider up and out the winder but nah uh, fuck that.

Spray the place with bug poison man. I fucking hate all types of insects and its the first thing i ever do when i get into a new place. I dont care if they said they already sprayed, i do it again

i don't like the idea of filling my whole place up with poison gas, maybe i'll spray some raid around though

I think spiders are kinda cool, their the little predators of the insect world. They're literally everywhere, hunting and trapping other little insects (and even rodents) all the time.

They may look nasty and make me a little squeamish, but I'm still fascinated by them.

I do know this chick who keeps real live black widows in her bedroom and bathroom windows though.  Kicker is that she didn't tell me this until I had already slept over a few times!

She just like, casually brings it up in conversation one day, like it's nothin....  :kodama:

I have been bit by things too.  Its annoying to go to bed and wake up with welts similar to mosquito bites.

My solution:

Remove the sheets from the bed.  Spray the mattress with permethrin.  Let it dry.  Put the sheets back.  The biting bugs will be gone for at least a year.

Yea spiders suck but i have to work with them which blows.

I install heating and a/c units for older houses and most of the time it is litered with 100's of spiders and there egss everywhere.

My method to make it through is grab a thick stick throw some light on the nests and wack away but somtimes they grab on to my whack stick and come at me.

It is a love hate thing i guess.

I really really really hate spiders, they creep the fuck out of me. Despite this I don't kill the pinhead sized ones that inhabit my front window alcove. They kill other bugs which to me is worth keeping them around. Anything with a body bigger than 1/2 cm or so gets squashed though.
