I dislike that constant grunting music. :facepalm: It shouldn't even be classified as metal music.

however i like nu-metal :shrug: that everyone else seems to hate. but at least i understand what they're saying in nu-metal.

black metal is where it's at.  nile were always very interesting though.  defiling the gates of ishtar always was really impressive.  I prefer emperor or burzum etc over any of that stuff though.  emperor is fucking killer.

there are many flavors of metal, but I prefer mine extreme, whether that be brutal death, grind, sludge, doom, or black. and it must BRING THE METAL full on apocalyptic vision.

origin and nile are both EXCELLENT selections shroomism. both of the albums those songs are from are killer. and now for my selections:

i'll start with some CANNIBAL CORPSE. when it comes to death, it doesn't get much more quintessential than them. they are the band that Dethklok was based/parodied off of. They are the 110% cosmic death spiral metal.

Cannibal Corpse - "Make Them Suffer"


now for some U.S. bred black metal/avant-metal hybrid, Krallice. very interesting sound, definitely highly recommend.

Krallice - Energy Chasms


now for some occult doom/sludge courtesy of Moss. Moss is simply some of the purest, most RAW DOOM you will ever lay your ears upon. Very fucking haunting, esoteric music. definitely some occult channeling in the mix.

Moss - Subterranean
