Terrarium set up question

Hello everyone, I am having trouble with my homemade terrarium, it would seem that the water from the perlite does not evaporate like it should and therefore the humidified atmosphere does not exist making it very hard for me to properly maintain my harvest. I live in a place where dry heat is all around but the temp of my place is set to standard 78 degrees. if anyone has any info as to why this is happening and how to fix it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a million :smile:

wrong forum

you need at least 4-6 inches of damp perlite with no standing water

there should be no standing water in your perlite. if there is, pour it out. its all about surface area maannnnn.

a terrarium is a vivarium, and vivariums are used to enclose animals and plants by definition, although i think fungus and other genus of the planet fit into the same definition.

however it does belong in cultivation.
