Pasteurizing Question (Very Stupid)...

OK, This may be a very dumb question. I've just put 1/2 of my batch of 50/50+ into the bag that the peat moss came in and have put that bag in my pressure cooker. So far that is exactly what the 50/50+ instructions say to do. What I don't understand is whether I'm supposed to put water in the pressure cooker around the bag, or just have it be dry. also, is it ok if the bag touches the lid to the pressure cooker? I need immeadiate advice!!! Thanks

1 more thing....
will the bottom of the bag melt? should i put a washcloth on the bottom of the pressure cooker?

of course have water in there and is ok if it touches the top

i cant wait till i get my jars going friday, im aiming for 80, ill do a grow log with lots of pics after i get the jars colonized because those grow logs with people showing the jars colonizing are boring. im rambling  :shocked:
