am i a stalker?

I've been having some serious trust issues with the gf and her ex lately.  We were both at her ex's for a bit last night, and then she drives me home and drops me off at the door and says she's too tired to come in.  I look out the window and see her drive up the street, turn around, and head straight back towards her ex's (about 5 minutes away) and away from her house.  I had no idea what to do since her phone was dead, so i thought for a minute and then just drove there and rang the bell.  She said she was looking for her phone and thought she forgot it there, i found it in her bag in about 5 seconds.  I know it looks like a bullshit excuse, but from being there i'm 95% sure she's actually just a moron.
However, she's furious, thinks i'm a crazy stalker, and isn't sure if we should be together anymore.  I don't ever want to be in a situation where i feel like i have to check up on her again, but, am i a crazy stalker, and how do i handle this?

youre not a stalker, but sounds like you have some insecurities. being in a relationship means you need to trust the other person.

if you cant trust her, either you shouldnt be with her, or you have trust issues that you need to deal with, and you probably shouldnt be with her

She shouldn't have lied, but if you are being obviously insecure, then of course she isn't going to want to be with you anymore. If you accuse someone of cheating (who isn't) and act suspicious all of the time, they are more likely to cheat, because you're already treating them like a cheater...what do they have to lose?
