They had no respect for him. They were fighting and one of them pushed him quite forcefully. They(the girls)are wrong, period.

She assaulted an officer that was trying to detain her friend, who was resisting arrest :shrug:

It was either a punch or a tazer or something. I agree, it was a bit unorthidox, but the punch didn't even knock her out. :lol:

the way I see it, they dont have to have respect for him, they do need to
respect the position, not knowing about the initial contact, we dont know
if he had started off being a dickhead before she even said a word...
given his demeanor during the altercation it doesnt seem likely

The way those girls were acting, i'm sure they were mouthing off to the cop when he was trying to ticket her, but of course we don't get to see that.

At least the one guy with those girls pulled the 17 y/o off the cop. 

If I was the cop in that situation, I would have peppered that mouthy whale, and start laughing hysterically.

-the sidewalk is an awesome place to park your cruiser (especially if your on an intense power trip, and need to show people how powerful you are).

I would have knocked her out. Don't try to fight with a cop, they will beat your ass.

She committed a actual crime that could have hurt herself or others. The officer was trying to do his job. What a dumb bitch.

you probably wouldn't even try to help your friend if they were gettin wronged by the police.

you'd probably just watch, like a little bitch, as they yelled for help, and were beaten and arrested...



they did break the law, but that doesn't mean what the cop did was okay.

there was no reason for that shit, it was a girl.


there's a hundred other ways he could have handled the situation, without violence.

if he was having trouble maintaining control of the situation, which he was, he should have avoided any physical contact, and called for assistance.

there's fault on both sides.


On another note, that video is fucking funny. and realistically,  would have probably helped, had it been watched prior to jaywalking.
