That's the only response I've gotten on MO.  It's listed in the A. Gemmata group.  I've yet to get the time to really dig in my ID books.

its not deadly so ... do a bio essay the concentric rings just might not have fully devolved i have seen that happen before

That right dude, I don’t think the rings ever developed, usually the warts are also atypical in this ringless specimens. I believe it caused by rapid humidity changes early in the mushrooms life cycle.

wtf i want a trusted identifier thing i have been doing this for way too long. but yeah it really seems like the rings just havent developed tho the other features are there a good sign would be the smell if it smells like the drugs in it, its probably legit

OK, thanks for the replies.  Yes, there was an extreme humidity during this time.  There's been a nice early Amerimuscaria flush...not in the numbers later in the year, but now I have like 2 or 3 more spots.  :yesnod:

Fungi01 has under 100 posts and is a TI.The lowest post count TI I have yet to see.
