Are these glaring coincidences supposed to be so obvious, maybe to create buzz/rivalry between the two pop icons, or is it just stupidity in leaving the source of your 'creativity' so visible.

To be honest, Christina was always has been flashy and stuff, and even more so recently.  If anything, Lady Gaga took Christina to a new level.
