Fungi Pics(or lack thereof) =\

So I decided I wanted to go exploring in the woods and find some mushrooms to take pictures of today... Slight problem: no mushrooms!

I found some strange fungi, but nothing too great. I actualy think both of the things pictured are lichens. So they're not even true fungi, they're fungi/algae.

Anyway, heres the pics:


This thing was tiny. Notice the 3 brown line things in the bottom left, that would be pine straw.


I know this is a lichen(kinda blury =\) for a fact, nothing special but hey, it's a picture... everyone likes pictures :wink:

More pics to come once it warms up and there's something worth taking pictures of :smile:

They are really easy to use... !!!

I like mine, but, I would probably be just as happy with a Fuji like GUmbys or possibly one of dem Nikon coolpix 5700!

Yes, the first pic is fungi. Maybe Stereum.

Thanks for the comments, it's a Fuji FinePix S602. It does macro down to .4 inches.

You still will be able to zoom in closer!!

Says you can get it for $439.99...not too shabby :smile:

I reccomend www.ibuydigital.com. I got mine through them for DIRT cheap. They were pretty cool, and sent it out fast. They just call you and try to sell you accessories. Just say, no... :smile:

They are selling Gumby's camera for $505.00

I got mine for 550, but like angry said, you can find them cheaper(I wish I had found those palces before I bought mine).
