Exactly. 

And THAT is the reason why this show is so confusing: liars.  The characters lie constantly throughout the whole show, and we take everything said for granted. 

I loved this last episode.  Jacob is ultimately responsible for the smoke monster, and he must feel a tremendous burden to try and keep him from escaping. 

Who mother "is" doesn't really matter, she probably came to the island randomly one day too, and was chosen to be the next guardian by who ever the last guardian was.  Kind of like what happened to Desmond. 

This explains why children and babies where so important to the others: Jacob needed a replacement.  Children and babies are innocent and have not yet been corrupted by the rest of the world.  Jacob needed someone he could train from birth.  The plane crash is regarded as a great opportunity to find a replacement. 

Charles Widmore ultimately fights for Jacob?  He has always hated Ben, but they never broke Jacob's rules until Alex got killed.  I'm guessing those are the rules that Ben was referring to when he went to see Widmore after Alex had been killed.

The smoke monster is deceptive, he can appear as anybody who has died on the island. It is essentially part of the island so "he" is fuzed with the souls it has consumed. Like Eko's brother. I don't know about Jack's dad though. This show is too confusing. Fuck Lost lol


I'm positive the last episode of last season, the MIB was already the smoke monster. That's why he said he wanted to kill jacob, he caused him to turn into the monster. Before that he had no malice towards jacob, they were seperated for years.

Did smokey exist before ATS(Last episode)? Obviously, the people on the island at the time are Roman, and we've obviously seen more ancient stuff than that showing smokey(Egyptian tunnels with anubis and smokie carving).

It's glaringly obvious that Mother, had the ability to change into the smoke monster. That's what I hinted at when I asked how she destroyed a village of men and fill in a well while MIB was knocked out?

How else would she know if you go into the cave of light it's "worse than death." She went in herself.

It seems as if her power as protector was split between brothers by Jacob's doing when he threw his brother into the cave.

I'm am pretty sure they never showed him actually being a wife beater, just controlling.  Even when he was controlling it was in the best interest of Sun, she just didn't trust him if I remember correctly.

I've always like Jin way more then Sun. 

OMFG 3.5 hours of the show left.  :eek:

Gotta get high tonight and watch the shit out of this show.

This show has been an amazing story.  If anyone would have told me in season one this is what would go down I'd have probably laughed in their face.  Sunday is going to be EPIC.

So Ben always has a plan doesn't he?  I've been wondering exactly why he killed Locke way back when (to recreate oceanic 815 yatayata, but that doesn't really recreate it cause Locke was alive and sitting with everyone else on the original plane).  Now I'm thinking you could make an argument that he killed Locke for the monster so that the monster could have a body. 

One BIG thing that I'm wondering if they are going to explain more is the numbers.  You could say that the numbers are just coincidence and bla bla bla, maybe if they even include them in the finally in some way that would be nice.  They have seemed to disappear off the show for a while now which either means they have no explanation and they just want you to forget about them, or they are a HUGE integral part of the equation, and they wanted to bring them back unexpectedly at the end.

It does kind of make sense to me though that the could have always just been the code one puts into the computer for years and years, along with being broadcast from the radio tower.  IDK.


I wonder if Richard is dead?  I feel like he probably has one more important thing to add to the show before he dies from his wounds that he sustained.  Miles will probably find him off in the woods or something bleeding out.   

This show is the most amazing TV show ever made.
