if im not mistaken..that poll was taken in 2009.. which would make it worthless today...but suppose your right and the majority does split the vote...in that case..the political vote still outweighs the referendum...

What do you mean the political vote outweighs the referendum?  If majority vote yes on the referendum and conservatives also take office then the referendum is rendered null?
