Adobe Premiere 6.5 is what I use for wedding and corporate video editing. It works great, depending on your operating system. Under OS X for apple, I have had no problems, using it with Windows 98, you are limited by the FAT32 file system, which only allows you to feed in 4 GB (approx 20 mins) at a time, as well as creating files sizes no larger than 4GB. Right now I am using Premiere with Windows 2000, which has the NTFS file system, which allows for hours of importing, and has almost no files size limitation. Just be sure not to recompress your MPEG when you export it. If you need any other tips or info about Premiere, feel free to PM me.

Premiere is by far the best for editing.
