audio software help needed

I need to find some audio software (preferably for mac, but window works too) that can let me edit each of the 5 channels individually of 5.1 audio.

I don't know if any of your guys saw the movie, Fast and The Furious. It was totally gay, but I used to have 5.1 speakers hooked up to my stereo/dvd player and you could hear unique car sounds in each individual speaker. It may be a shitty movie but the sound engineering was superb. Best 5.1 audio i've ever heard.

Anyone know of such software?
