Hey can drug dogs smell shrooms? I've always wondered this. For some reason I think I remember reading that they can't . But I can't find this in past posts. Thanks gang, peace.

a good snort of that stuff will send the dog into a sneezing fit . :grin:

The only place I know of where they are trained to is the Pac NW.

The use of inocent animals to do the dirty work for the pigs is sick and wrong!!!!!

sounds like what they do up here on the Port Angeles / Victoria ferry (US to Canada...... BC to be exact)........ they have regular drug dog teams on it (or so I hear) because so much weed gets smuggled over the border, so people like to pour bong water on the decks...... confuses the fuck out of the dogs but I guess it isnt actually illegal heh.

I cant see how a dog could smell psilocybin in a mushroom, i guess they can smell coke from a plant though...

if you are transporting dried shrooms past drug sniffing dogs just wrap in saran wrap. Then after you have done that cover the whole thing in petroleum jelly....they will never smell it

cops were taking drug dogs on BC ferries routes between horseshoe bay to naniamo and horseshoe bay to langdale, pot activists ground up pot and mixed it with paprika, then spread it throughout the ferries, after a whiff of that dogs associate the smell of marijuana with the pain of the paprika and are discouraged to sniff it out again
