Smelling Shrooms

I know its dumb, but if you smell shrooms, does it have any degrading after affects on the brain or anything?

No. If you look in the books you will find that the odor of a mushroom is frequently one of the most important characteristics of a species. I know professional mycologists who have been smelling mushrooms for their entire professional careers without harm (for example, Dr. Orson Miller, Jr., who just retired this year).

There is nothing to fear from smelling mushrooms.
