Questions about mist makers, and growin tek's.

Alright, i have read pretty much everything i can find on cultivating and what not, but i still have some questions on things im confused about.
1. Covering jars with tinfoil work good? 2. At what stages do i need to keep the mycelium (sp?) or shrooms at a very high humidity.. Is this only during innoculation, or is it all the way from innoculation to fruiting?
3. If i get 2 big tupperware containers and i get a "mist maker" and put one small tupperware inside another with the mist maker on the bottom with water, will this create enough humidity, or will it not work?
3b. If i have one big tupperware thing (one the squre ones), and put a smaller like bucket with a mist maker in it in the middle of the cakes, will this work to keep the humidity up or will it cause too much "drip"
4. What is the difference between temperature and humidity? If i just have a mist makes will that increase the temp or will i need a heater too?
Thank you so much! I hope to grow soon!

I read the faq about a million times along with everyguide, dont get me wrong, im just confused and want answers to soms simple questions, if its that easy, can you just answer it for me and not call me dumb.
Oh and mist maker is something you submerge in water, plug in and it creates a mist, they are used for terrariums and for looks in ponds and gardens and shit.

1. Yes
2. You want some humidity during incubation to fruiting...you don't want dry heat drying up your jars.
3. No
3b. Yes if you are talking about an air bubbler.
4. Humidity is the amount of moisture in the air. Temperature is how warm it is. A mist maker won't increase the temperature.

I do it all the time. No contams yet.

If you prepare your jars correctly, you won't have to worry about humidity during incubation. If you are fruiting cakes, you'll want your humidity to be very high (i.e. 95% - 100%).
About your setup: judging by the diagram, I don't think that would work as I don't see how the humid air would make it's way into the top compartment. Instead, line the bottom of your tub with an inch of perlite, and a 1/2 inch of water.
Humidity has to do with the amount of moisture in the air, where as temperature has to do with the speed that the air molecules are moving at. Faster = Warmer, Slower = Colder.

82 is optimal (IMO) for incubation, mid 70's for fruiting.

Alright, so i should use perlite for the humidity, got that down, but what can i use to keep the temp up that high? Would the EZ-incubator do the trick (two tupperware things inside eachother with aquarium heater underneath)?

Don?t forget the part where the highest humidity is needed, the fruiting.

True...I just didn't word it very well.
I just was trying to express that some humidity is needed during incubation also...or dry heat would dry out the jars.
I always have my highest humidity during fruiting. Cakes always very high humidity. Casings I alway have high humidity til I get pins...then I drop the humidity down.

How do you go about keeping moisture build up off the cakes or what not?
Also, what does "flushing mean"?
And for the best release of co2 buildup, do i just take the tuppewear cover off, or could i kinda "case mod" my tupperwear with some 60mm fans and run em like 2 times a week with a push button?
