Scorpion Sting High

I remember hearing about a kind of scorpion that people in India (or somewhere) would let sting them, and they would get high from it. I even saw this video once and they were showing the people getting stung and stuff and they were talking about the scorpion venom getting them high, etc.

It sounds like BS, but I remember seeing it, and I can't find it now. So anyone know what I'm talking about?

Lol, I know it sounds like bullshit, but I swear I saw this shit in a documentary or something. I remember seeing these middle eastern guys or Indian guys all in this lodge together and they were getting stung repeatedly on the hand with these scorpions and the narrator was saying how this kind of scorpion is used in that part of the world to get high. I just can't remember where I saw it...

Nah, I know what you're talking about. I'm pretty sure the high lasts for like 6-8 hours. I don't know what the scorpion is called though.

Seems like a real thing. Something as biologically reactive as venom could easily have an impact on the nervous system. I wish there was some info on the mechanism of the venom.

I can't find a trace of info on it anywhere, and I'm starting to think I'm crazy 'cause if it's not real, I'm a delusional/confused motherfucker. I coulda swore I saw this shit somewhere, and I can't find shit about it on Google.

i got stung by a jelly fish and I was fucked up tripping for hours, though i went totally blind and had to take medicine for it.. Id do it again if all the sexy women on the beach will come to aid me.. but I was a teen then, not a gray squirrel.. :vaped:

its actually a kind ants.. they have a form of ibotenic acid in them if memory serves.

man last weekend i went out to the rave, got my self some poppers some E and my fave a terrarium full of tripping scorpions. god i get stung all night long and convulse all over the dance floor.
