The song that drove my bestfriend crazy.
    #12173391 -

Two weeks ago I dosed a 1/8th of nice dry cubies with my best friend we shall refer to as RA.
It had been an amazing night, and continued to be so until she decided it was late and had to go home.
I volunteered to drive. I can drive perfectly fine at a dose of that level.
4.5 hours had elapsed since dose.
We got in the car, she lit up a cigarette, i turned on music at a moderately loud level.. how I like it. The song was Night Terror - Blotted Science... one of my personal favorites... an insanely talented band. I do not believe RA was nearly as accustomed to this sort of music as I am. The song came on, she went completely silent. I drove. 4 miles over the speed limit.
30 seconds into the 4 block ride she suddenly yells "SLOW DOWN!"
and I do.. I go 22 for her in a 25.
We get to her house she simply jumps out of the car and i turn off the music.
I look at her and tell her I love her and ask for hug, she gives me a quick hug and hurries into her house.
I get home.
Check my myspace.. I recieve the comment "(me) You've really fucking scared me. Please do not ever try to contact me again"
blocked and everything.
called her.
no avail.
I am almost convinced that this song had an extremely huge sway over whatever happened in those 6 minutes...
I still love the song. I still love the girl even though contact has remained severed. Strange... :royalrainbow::shrug:

Terrible song to play while tripping....

No wonder bro...

Especially with something as delicate as halucionogens, you have to be really sensitive/considerate with the vibe you throw out the for others

I'm aware of it.
It simply did not scratch my mind at the time.
For I was simply into enjoying a song I like and focusing on driving.
I'm not one to underestimate the sheer power of music.
I do not believe myself free of fault either.

Also important to note is we have tripped together 10+ times... we've listened to heavy music tripping together before, never this band though.

Music has a powerful effect, though people would like to deny it. There's a song called Szomoru Vasarnap that supposedly made a lot of people commit suicide.

She probably thought you were driving like a maniac, the song could have probably triggered those thoughts.

Isn't Mozart's Requiem reputed to have had the same effect on several people as well? I've heard it and I'm still here  but...

I'm currently a music/audio engineering major at the moment so this has only proven the more intriguing to me.

That is basically what I have concluded.
The song caused a speedy, out of control, feeling in her head, it felt like I was going too fast as she watched out the side which gave her the illusion of speed compounded on by psilocybin's ability to exacerbate your imagination.

I'm not sure... This song even drove its own composer and his wife to kill themselves, though. Crazy stuff

jesus man, something that dissonant and syncopated makes my brain feel short-circuited while sober.

but in any case, she hasn't contacted you for two weeks? i can see being confused and frazzled by it until the end of the trip, or maybe the next day, but i would think she'd have come around by now. what's up with that?

This girl is very different from those you would usually meet.
Both of us are extremely iron willed.
When she decides something, she will not back off for a long time. I expect her to come around in about a year. I will still be there.

Hehehe, no problems man. Good vibes all around
If you're into classical music, the song itself is actually not bad. Just the stories surrounding it are.
