Audial Hallucinations via Oxycodone?
    #12111037 -

Anyone ever experience this? I was sittin in my computer chair chillin listening to music gettsing to the plateau of my dose when I suddenly heard a rather loud voice whisper in my ear that even felt as though my hair had been blown back saying "gotcha!"

needless to say this scared the crap outta me and my knee-jerk reaction was to swat behind me but obviously no one was there...:uhoh:

I've never had any hallucinations while on oxy.  not visual or otherwise.  I guess if nod visions count then yeah.. but IME if you're hearing clearly defined words spoken by people that aren't there, I don't think the OC had much to do with it.  call the paranormal research society nigga...

Its common, I used to wake up out of nods in full conversation with people that weren't even there, and I've seen many others do it as well.  I used to hear people talking when I was alone all the time.

well I've just never had any type of hallucination on oxy and neither has anyone I know personally.  i'm not saying that it's impossible but in my vast oxy journeys I've never heard someone speak to me that wasn't there.  like I said if you were in nod nod land then yea, you're practically dreaming while half awake.  other than that I'd be flipped the fuck out if something whispered "gotcha!" in my ear.

I've had some crazy ass experiences with ghosts and the paranormal so I don't think it's all that far fetched.  personally I'd believe a ghost spoke to you before the oxycodone did.

yeah coming out of nods thinking you're talking to someone is one thing, but just being high and hearing shit whispered into your ear is another.  have you just straight up heard shit spoken by people that weren't there???

yeah i didn't get to nodding yet i was just getting increasingly loaded, about 45 minutes after ingestion of 25 mg oxycodone(i have no tolerance due to a long needed tolerance break) and potentiated with everything i could get my hands on except quinine.

it was very weird, it was practically out of nowhere...it wasn't like being itm of a nod, i dunno. maybe i was starting to nod i just didn't realize it. all i know is it was extremely disconcerting

yeah man frankly if that happened to me I would shit myself.  if you're deep in a nod and come back out of it yeah, you're gonna be disoriented and shit but out of nowhere... fuck that.  you're on a boatload of other drugs apparently so that could have something to do with it too.

yeah i had to get up and pace around and go talk to my brother to calm down a little bit haha, and once i went into the nod i started to hear voices like regular...the ones you hear really faintly inside your head that you just barely interpret as statements..

Sleep, dreams, nodding and the hypnagogic state that can produce auditory hallucinations are all intimately connected.

(((:ooo:)))

imagine a turned up & broken volume knob and not being able to turn it off, now imagine how much shock you would be in. now imagine the fear that comes in knowing how fucked your life will be from that point forward; cant study, cant sleep, cant remember things, can't hide it. now imagine how you know it will drive you crazier more and more everyday. now imagine how you know people will look at you different forever. now imagine realizing your fate in becoming one of those people you see wearing 3 layers of coats in the summer heat~

fuck it. who wants pie?!
