didn't read the thread yet,

but i wrote a cute girl from one of my classes an instrumental song this week, i'll send it to her on saturday probably (it kinda sounds like a boards of canada "campfire headphase" style rip off, i was just aiming for pretty sounds). i also asked my good friend amy to be my valentine, she said she needed one, so we're gonna write each other a letter and that's that. no gf, but whatever, that just means my valentines are voluntary. :heartpump: :smile2:

it just so happens that me and my girlfriends 2 year anniversary also falls on valentines day...

good thing we don't celebrate that shit!


I'm still going to make her an oldschool construction paper valentines day card though, and get her something small... I just like getting her stuff... :shrug:

we will probably end up getting stoned and sneaking white russians into the bowling alley after watching the big lebowski. at least, that's what i hope will happen...

seems like it'd work
people would buy alotta cards and chocolates so the company would do well resulting in higher stock prices. then you sell em one day.

Oh shit I completely forgot about Valentine's day, it's on the 14th right?
God, I hate these dumb holidays, I gotta go waste my money on some chocolates and flowers and shit for my girl, and since it just snowed a few feet here (DC area) it's gonna be a huge pain in the ass to get to a store to buy some dumb shit thats gonna die and get eaten or thrown out... :shakefist:
At least I'll get laid, but that happens with or without this dumb holiday. :doggystyle:

I don't get people who talk about pressure. There's no pressure if you don't feel the need to offer something. And if your girlfriend dumps you for not having an exceptional present for her, then it's not love, and you're better off without her. A hooker is cheaper in the long run I guess.

This year, I'm with a girl I really love. So I'm just being extra nice to her, and I think about buying her something atypical soon, not especially for Valentine's day but because I never gave her anything, this time of the year is a good one to be warm.

But well, when I mean really nice... I'm usually quite good as a loving boyfriend, but she'll be a real princess for a week or two.

i hate it either way.  too much pressure whether you're in one or not.

it's like you already have birthdays, anniversaries etc to celebrate.....why does there have to be another day?  my parents go married on valentines day :rolleyes:

though, if you're going to do it, best to do something AWESOME together that will be a memorable experience like sneaking into the bowling alley with caucasians!  DUDE!  you guys are awesome!  love it.  :heart:
