An older Agaricus? arvensis or campestris maybe

Granted that the "black" print might have been dark brown that is.

What does it smell like?

Definitly mature Agaricus sp.

If it doesn't smell like chemicals, phenol, or ink, you can try a piece if you want.

It would be in your best interest to research the active mushrooms you are hunting for. I've seen you post mushroom after mushroom recently asking if they are active.

That is the LEAST productive way to find what you are looking for.

Know what you are looking for before you go looking for it.

And yes, as Twiztid,hedgehog/Wrenzo said, that is a mature Agaricus species.

You don't need a photographic memory. No one expects you to either.

Simply knowing which species you are looking for and its traits and habitat is often enough.

Which species are you looking for anyways?

Why? You've just told us that you have no interest whatsoever in edibles. "actives" isn't a species. Find out which active species grow in your area (pretty sure there's a sticky for that) and get a field guide if you can't remember what to look for.

Squeeze the base of the Agaricus and smell it. If it doesn't have a chemical odor, like previously mentioned, it is safe to eat and probably delicious.
