i ain't a senior member but i can surely help you a little... try to bring the humidity up to 95-100%, fan your cake 2-3 times a day and close the light at night.. 12hours on vs 12hours off(the shrooms are growing faster in the dark but they need light to pin... once you got many pin heads, you can light your cake 6 hours and keep them in the dark for 18hours...

what does your set up(terrarium) looks like??

I have a white cooler I spray it, it has a drip shield and the cakes are on the melt lids from the jars

Hi mattek,
First off, with cakes you MUST have a humidity level of at least 95% humidity. Actually 98-100% humidity is the best! 75-85% may not cut it:-(

The temp isn't too bad, most cubes will grow around 70 degrees, I've grown them at 60, but best that I've found is between 75 and 80 degrees.
