How? If we are discussing peoples "spirituality" to assist others or discussing the many conspiracies that are against spirituality on numerous levels (from religious dogma to government propaganda, etc.) how aren't they interrelated?

Not all conspiracy theories are about human spirituality, and not everybody who talks about human spirituality talks about there being conspiracy theories associated with it; therefore, a separate forum for conspiracy theories is appropriate.

There's an EDIT by c0sm0 on the first page that says THERE WILL BE a subsection for conspiracy theories added... along with the title change? I hope that isn't definite...

EDIT: Also, if you call the section "Conspiracy Theories," I think it detracts from their authenticity and doesn't do the subjects spoken about any justice. This is just supporting the current euphemism, in the way it's used today (the public portrayal). The term has a stigma attached to it, and makes people uninterested for the sheer fact that it's called a "Conspiracy Theory." If you present information to someone, and it's being labeled or classified as a "Conspiracy Theory," even before you present any information to the person; chances are you will find the person (or most people) will immediately be disinterested... if not just completely closed off...thanks to the media and many others.

All you did was reverse the name from "Mysticism & Spirituality," to "Spirituality & Mysticism." Along with the added "Conspiracy Theory" section. Thought it was supposed to be changed to "Spirituality & the Occult?"

This was originally Mysticism and the Paranormal.  Also geokills as an administrator has final say in the naming of forums.

I am talking about what it was supposed to be, from the original Poll itself. If the admin has the final naming, then I guess our vote didn't count... just like in the US presidential elections ...

Your vote counts in that you get to narrow the final choice down to a couple options and the poll results were tied anyway.

(this isn't a totalitarian state just yet)

Yeah except, even though the options were narrowed, one of them specifically won. For them to not go along with the winning choice, seems wasteful.. fuckin Diebold systems :crankey:
