Hypothetical question

What if it wasn't rude to be an impolite asshole? What if saying something like "Excuse me bitch, I need to get some milk." at the super market was perfectly normal? What if punching someone in the face was a perfectly acceptable way to meet them?

people online have no sense of politeness or tact...are no-it-alls, then, when you come in here(SA) anon...people here are complete assholes...for no reason!! this place seems to work just fine, I just feel like this is what it would be like to live in hell.

this place also seems to make me think I know everything, then pisses me off, and makes me depressed. it brings out all of my bad qualities.

Years ago, when I first met one of my best friends we almost got into a fight.  Its funny because if somebody is insulting or physically attacking you, you are forced to see them with a bit of respect, even if in defense.  And respect is the foundation of any friendship, no?

then the world would be a better place. instead of pent-up rage, we'd be able to vent at all times and would greatly benefit from it i think.
