The Vikes Saints match was probably one of the best playoff games in history, and this superbowl is probably going to be as good.

Yeah, it was exciting.  It was also an incredible exhibition of sloppy and stupid football.  I am fully aware that the Saints D are ball hawks but damn man so is everybody else.  Do you think it was part of their plan to give up 450+ yards and rely on getting 6 TOs?

Does that mean the Colts will kill them?  No, of course not.  The Saints have played much better football in most of their games this year, even considering the quality of their opponent, and I do not expect them to play like that kind of shit in two weeks.

zap:  this was a game was decided mostly on turnovers and penalties.  The Saints with penalties and the Vikes with turnovers.  I agree both looked sloppy in those relative areas, but I think when you get two teams that were as equally matched as those two were, the game will always be decided on things like that.

Well, I have always maintained that turnovers are the most important influences on the outcome of a football game, but the Saints gave up, not yards, but acres of real estate as if there was a foeclosure auction.  And the penalties were just a further indication of how disgracefully sloppy both teams were.  I expected better from these two and I am quite sure we will get better from the Saints next week.  If we don't, they will probably get embarrassed.  Peyton Mannning isn't an over-the-hill risk taking lunatic.

I can't wait.  This town went absolutely nuts when the Saints won the Championship, I can't imagine what this place will be like if they win the Super Bowl.  And it's right in the middle of the height of Mardi Gras season, the Super Bowl parade here would be the best one evar!
