So how much vaped weed do you need to get high from eating it?

I know a firecracker is .3-.5 of bud, but how much vape weed would one need? I have around 11 grams and am hankering to eat it.

I'm amazed this thread isn't getting more hits either, maybe it's a little late in the night/early in the morn?  I don't have a vape but I asked my buddy who has one and he had a few suggestions:

1.For cooking you will need 3-5 parts vaped weed vs. regular weed.  So if you were gonna use 1/8 in ur brownies or w.e use 1/2 of vaped weed. This depends on how vaped it is though, the more green/golden brown the less you need vs. really brown/blackish nugs

2. He said a better idea would be to make hash with it?  Tincture or something.  He was rambling a bit but it was something about combining it with high % alcohol then straining it, then letting it evaporate and scraping up the sticky residue thats left and smoking that.  I'm sure you could find some more info about this somewhere on this site.

Uhhh so yeah if you're hankering to eat it I would just throw all 11 gs into a small brownie mix and whip up some of those.

If you have 11grams instead of eating it I would make QWISO hash.  there are some pics of a 1.1g ball of QWISO in my gallery that I made from a little over 10g of vaped buds.  Works much better than eating vapings IMO.  Really strong body high for about an hour from a rip or two out the bong :awesome:

Agreed.  I would love to know how to make that QWISO hash.  I've got at least an oz or two of vaped bud and turning that into a small amount of some hash-esque product would definitely be desirable.

1.  Get some ISO alcohol, the higher the better but 70% has worked fine for me in the past.
2.  Put all the vapings in a glass cup
3.  pour in enough alcohol to be about 3-4mm above the weed.
4.  The tricky part, agitate the weed constantly but gently ONLY for 3 minutes, overdoing this will just result in a product with more plant material in it.
5.  Strain through a coffee filter into a pyrex dish, pie tins work too if you dont have glass.
6.  Evaporate, either over night, or you can speed the process up with a hair dryer in about an hour and a half if you put some effort into it.
7. Scrap, roll into ball(s), and let them sit for at least a few hours till they are like hard tack
8.  :bongload:

Over at Fuck Combustion, all the experienced vaporists have agreed on roughly 3x the amount of vaped weed to fresh weed.

Obviously it all depends on how far you take your vaporization, but 3x is a really good starting point and general estimate.

Interesting. I want to eat it more than make the hash because I could get a lot of my friends stoned by eating. If I have the hash I may just horde it to myself.

my hash ball got me a two friends real high roughly 5x.  I just didn't like the high from eating vapings, it was like instant sleep, whereas edibles made from fresh bud are like a small psychedelic experience for me

Pretty much.

Vaped edibles have there time and place... and that's mainly for a deep sedating/relaxing body stone and deep sleep, nobody should expect anymore.

It's definitely not a substitute for smoke or vapor, just a bonus on the side.

the hash just reminded me of regular hash other than the taste.  strong strong body stone but w/o the sedating effects. 

plus watching hash bubble when you smoke it is :awesome:

Hm, I may have to make the hash then. No point in eating it all to fall asleep. Good thing is there's probably 20+ strains in my vape weed.
