and the head may be a little big. keep in mind you are
looking at a skinny girl from the side. but still
possibly a bit too big

I don't think her head's too big, I think her torso is too short, though you could make it look like some really cool foreshortening using value.

I like it so far, looking forward to seeing it finished :wink:

I think it looks fine, unless you are going for a more realistic look. The head/body ratio doesn't bother me at all.
