what don't you like about it?

constructive criticism is what i was hoping for...and "I'm suprised anybody" would give such an opinion in the manner that you did.

I agree. I also dont know why someone would give an opinion in such a manner. Thats ridiculous and very rude.

Anyways, I really like your painting. Very cool. I am also an artist but I like to draw. This is very cool though, keep them coming.

Sorry to say, but that painting didn't wow me whatsoever :thumbdown:

actually its pretty lame

1.) Faces look stupid, plain and simple, i mean i guess if you WANTED them to look bad...on purpose, i guess you succeded, but the other guy was right, id go with realistic or abstract looking, not plain old 4th grade finger painting style.

2.) the middle WOULD be cool, but there is WAY too much going on ...WAAAY too much, your painting NEEDS a focal point...badly.

3.) The human flesh color was poorly picked

4.) whats up with the top?

honestly every time i look at it, it gets worse and worse....I wouldn't take it if you PAID me to (well then I would, but id just throw it away)

InsaneMaryJanei mainly draw with charcoal...i recreated a Dali in charcoal, the Madonna port light detail. this is actually my first painting..and it was free hand.

AntiEverythingto be honest i couldn't really think of much to do with the faces...the reason the colors suck is that i couldn't mix the right one (i only have primaries). that is actually the third and fourth colors you see on the faces.

and um.....i didn't want to have a focal point (like many psychedelic painting). i want the viewer to see it in many different ways...

if you look at the plant as having a long face and the purple being smoke or something then to me it sort of looks feminine, but if you look at it like the purple is part of the face, like a beard, it looks more masculine. you can also just focus on the symmetry or specific colors, which from past experience looking at things under the influence of shrooms or acid, is very pleasurable.

i've been there once. i was probably 7 years old and it was winter time. no one was there. i did find an abonded turtle shell though...and took it to show and tell at school...where it got smashed to peices in my back pack.

yeah i hear hippy hollow is where a bunch of old people or homosexuals go.

I definitely like it and enjoy looking at it... but I wouldn't pay money for it - I only display my own artwork.

It's hard to be constructive when there is so little to work with. The subject matter is poorly chosen as well as the design. Choose something else to paint. And maybe you need higher quality paint or something because that looks like you painted it with melted crayon. I don't know if it's your technique or what. Your pic looks like you're in your twenties but that picture looks like it was painted by a ninth grader if that. Those lips in the middle just look moronic. It doesn't even have a cool cheap vibe I can groove on. There's just nothing redeeming.
