If people did some research they would be better off. It's not a bad thing to do some research to find out what can KILL you when you are thinking about picking wild mushrooms to ingest. Whether they be edible or active. Its also a smart thing to research the mushroom you are looking for instead of picking every random mushroom.

Really, really pretty photos? Do you not understand that a blurry picture can not be identified properly? Small details sometimes means the difference between two different genera.

Most of the people on this forum either trip or have tripped before. No one is looking down on someone because they want to get high or trip. People tend to look down on the people who come in here asking if they can get high on a random mushroom they found and then show no interest in learning about what they are looking for.

Danish is excluded because she stated she recognized the mushrooms as mushrooms she had eaten before. She was then smart enough to post here BEFORE eating them. She didn't come in here posting random mushrooms, she had a reason to ask.

laotzo, I think you are taking this whole thread the wrong way, maybe it's you having the bad day. masspan was simply pointing out a few things to her; ie. its not wise to post your picture online when asking about ingesting an illegal substance.

The internet is an informal form of communication. Things like tone and sarcasm aren't easily expressed.

Also, my last post in response to Danish wasn't directed at her personally. I was simply stating the way some of the community views people who ask such things.

Usually a post titled "Are these active?" or "Are these Psilocybe cyanescens?" would be received better than a post titled "Will these fuck me up?".
