i NEED help.. i found mushrooms in my backyard and im anxious to find out if i can trip for FREE :)

Habitat:
Where does it grow? i found these mushrooms in my backyard, i live in kirkland, Washington. they were found in the dirt next to the water septic regulator thing, not sure what exactly its called..

What does it grow on? grew out of the dirt between the concrete walkway and the septic thing.

Gills:gills are dark brown almost black and im not sure what attached/not looks like..


Stem: thin, like a spaghetti noodle and about 2 inches long at most. lighter shade then cap but still rather grayish brown. cripsy dry texture. feels like its hollow.

Cap: big ones are about inch and a half id say, brownish/blackish/blueish/gray, dried out and almost crispy, circular and wavy with an indent.


Spore print color: ..what is spore print color? :undecided:
Very important!

Bruising: i dont know exactly what that means.. but on the center of one of the caps theres like this black tar kinda looking

Other information: smells a little damp, dirt.

Those look a little far gone to be ingested regardless. Or you color balance is shot to shit.  :ohwell:

i dont know how to upload anymore pics to this.. but any clues otherwise? i can google from there, i just am too impatient to sift through it all online.

and to rewdy.. ive eaten some that look alot like this and tripped balls.. so ya.

Hard to tell for sure from the blurry pics but they sure do LOOK like the potent psilocybe cyanescens.  I'm surprised to see these after all of the super cold weather we've been having.

Post better pics if you can, throw them under a fan so they can dry until you get a 100% positive ID.

you can't trip for free. you don't know what gills are, you don't know what bruising is. an id request means having some idea of what you think you have, doing some of the work yourself. don't eat those until you have some idea what they are by yourself. everyone is entitled to be crazy, but noone cares if you are lazy.

one of my friends thinks theyre cyanescens too. and theyre familiar looking to me. ive eaten cubenzis and i know theyre not those.. also cyanescens and blue ringers. but ya they look very familiar.

fuck u masspan. not a minor. freshly 21. and what the fuck does age have anything to do with it? why even post anything? just to be a dick? real cool. u must be one of those ppl that put ppl down to feel better about themselves. and duh i dont know much about mushrooms, yet. fuckin a, man. i AM asking to identify.. dont hate on me cuz im interested in shrooms and still learning along the way. and i am not dumb enough to just eat them.

but this is all besides the point. im trying to find out if ANYONE can identify these shrooms off these shit ass pictures, if not, maybe point me in the direction of where i can search or throw some names out there for me to look up my own damn self.

its a tough call with those pics.. but i do see what appears to be bluing also called bruising for future reference.... good sign i suppose... it would help it you got a print off them.. black spores we be another good sign... other than that just wait till a trusted identifier stops by

you want purple spores not black ones.

You can see lots of bluing on one of the stems in her 2nd pic in her 1st post.  The new round of pics are clearer and they definitely look like cyans.

Good find Danish,  Too bad you'll have to wait 10 months to find any more :wink:

it was a total chance luck find. i was outside smoking a cigarette and i happened to go on my walkway like i never do, and happen to look down, usually i look up at the sky lol. there they were. a ton of them. and just yesterday a blue ringer hook up fell through.

If there were indeed a ton, you should pick them all, keep them under a fan for a day or 2 while they dry.  Then put them in a container with some damp rid ($5 at a hardware store) until they are cracker dry and the stems can snap.  This way they will last you a long time until you need them.

so the substrate for your cyans was not wood but crappified lawn? never saw that before, but perhaps. easy Danish, age does not mean everything, i agree, but don't expect 'i am young and want to trip ballz' id requests to be eagerly embraced. either way, take your time, learn what it is you are looking for, and don't be too hostile, i was just 'checking' you. and no, i don't try to make people feel bad, quite the opposite, but not knowing what you are looking for (google galerina marginata and deadly look alikes to cyans), can make everyone feel very bad.
