OK the KISS principal that Hippie referred to is Keep It Simple Stupid but in defence of your setup, it's nice to know that you can take off for a whole day and not have to get back to air out your chambers. Nice job there. ------------------ Be sure to check out www.3mshrooms.homestead.com for your spore needs

very nice man, what is in that green cooler under yer second ter.? also what kind of light are you using? you never have problems with shrooms growing toward the sides of the tank? i was wondering about all this because i'm getting ready to install my own grow chamber and have a rubermade container but i want to use a plexiglass lid and make sure its air tight. well i have a whole other post to make about what i need to do so keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. --peace-------------------- "I'm psychedelic this time coming rainbow, Look at the green lights and yall see my brain glow, five colors; yellow, black, red, green, and purple" --Dr. Octagonecologyst

The green cooler is just another rubermaid i use for storage of stuff. Used it to prop up the other rubermaid. The bathroom by the way toward the end of the growing cycle got so humid that mold started growing on the walls. I zapped that with clorox solution and seemed to not spread. This growing experience was my third and most succesful. I'll soon post pics of my dry harvest. Also the light I used was the fluo that came with the aquarium interchangeably. No probs with mushies searching around for light in all directions. Used to have that prob with perlite. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DON"T HAVE TO DEAL WITH PEARLITE, the shit I got from my GF with perlite spewed all over the appartment was too much. I ordered my self the KAZ internationally and have been really happy since! [This message has been edited by Burple (edited April 07, 2000).]

Been away for more than a week...Only attention needed is filling the humidifier every 5-6 days until pinning starts where you kinda need to be on top of things...

Hey its come back up!I will not accept the compliments since what I did was thanks to other peoples teks. Barry MC: As I said I used regular potting soil with a high PH 6.0. It was 50/50 potting soil/vermiculite with an eyeballed amount of lime. I used half a cake per casing each casing yielding abt 3-4 gr dry. Hope it helps. And by the way that bathroom's walls got so moldy by the end of the fruiting from all the humidity. But this didn't affect anything, because therte was always positive pressure from the cool mist blowing

Do you have any holes in the terrariums for the humidity to exit out of?? I know that you pump the humidity in, but is there an exit or vent or anything of that sort?Do you run the cool mist 24/7 What size are the tubes coming out of the humidifier Congadulations on making use of all the woderful TEKs found here on the Shroomery
