your setup is fine...
but the premature pinning is not good. dont epose them to light so much, thats what causes the premature pinning.

Very nice setup. AFOAF (hee hee) is doing all this for the first time as well and she's using the same equipment. Watch out for that therm/hygro gauge from Springfield . . . it's completely innacurate, esp RH >88%. Go digital (Radio Shack $30), it's worth the money.

Oh, my friend's also having trouble w/ the lines to and from the Sunbeam ultrasonic clogging up w/ condensed water. Did you have the same troubles? How'd you fix that (if you did)?

heh heh, thats funny you sasy that about the humidifier. it is very innacurate, and i do have a digital one inside under the plastic window. i just have the crappy one built into the side so i can glance in my closet and see what the general humidy is, too fuckin high or waaay to low.

i just make sure there are no low points in the lines, and have all the cuts at sharp angles. the sunbeam works just great for me, but putting the line into it and sealing it off is kinda hard.

My friend used a Burger King frozen Coke cup, the bottom of which fits PEFECTLY into the Sunbeam outlet. Just take out the vent already there, stuff in the bottom of the Coke cup, cut away the excess, and then pop a hole through the cup bottom to the diameter of your tubing. Voila!

She's taken your advice and made all the tubing as vertical as possible. So far so good. Thanx.
