This game has gotten far too much pub coverage.

I played Modern Warfare one time, and I was disappointed.

Of course, I'm used to the good old days of the FPS genre, Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nuke 'Em, Doom, Quake, Unreal Tournment, TimeSplitters, Et and Cetera.

MW with it's airstrikes and accuracy limits.

I'll tell you a good example of what I miss... Halo's pistol, in the original, could allow someone of my talents to kill someone from across the God-damn map. I WAS FEARED AND RESPECTED WITH THAT DAMN THING.

They fucked it up in the sequels... And now-a-days games make the guns suck, so you have to use the gadgets and whatyamacallits, rather than strapping your boots on to whoop some fucking ass.

The song is liquid swords by GZA. and as for the ass kicking , get it on PC and we shall see.

I have an honest question for you guys. 

I'm not a "gamer".  I haven't been into games since the SNES.  I got an N64 once x-mas, and didn't really like it because they had these retarded "ultra-super-mega combos" that required something like 20 button presses in a row.  The newer gaming systems look awesome though so I'm somewhat considering it.

So my question is:  If I just went out and bought a bunch of games and a PS3, how long would it take me just to learn how to play?  Would it be enjoyable at all, or just too damn complex?  Is there even such thing as a "pick up and play" game anymore?
