I find them all the time and they do not appear to be as dangerous as the news would have you believe.

I have the locations marked for 13 large scale commercial operations.

If its summer I mark them on GPS and then come back to explore them in winter when there is no one there.

In another month it will be time to go check them out.

This reminds me of a time a friend and I in New Zealand were up in Maori country hunting pig/possum and stumbled across a nice patch of cannabis. Being the good kind of people we are, we carried on and left it alone.

On our way back to our car 20 minutes later, we were shot at with .22 rifles. Their was more than one shooter but they must of been too far away to get a decent shot. Most of the rounds skimmed through the trees and the one that did hit the car didn't have enough velocity to puncture the steel.

Needless to say, we made a hasty retreat and I have avoided that particular area since. Even though we had rifles and could of shot back in self defence, it was not worth the trouble for a couple of white boys trespassing in native country.

Careful when in other people territory peoples.
