People that blatantly use the wrong version of your/you're, there/their/they're, etc.  And people that just clearly have no grammar skills.  These basic word mechanics are taught at such a young age that it shouldn't be so hard for people to understand yet many adults seem to struggle with it.  :kingtard:

Narcissistic Indie Scene kids who think that because they masturbate to some mediocre Wolf Parade album, they know all things about music!

And Thieves...but that is more of a hatred than a pet peeve.

Bags of chips that are only half-full when you open them.

When minorities refer to me as a "white boy," and get mad when I call them a "black kid."

Ugly girls that overcompensate by pretending like they think they're the hottest bitch in the room, when they obviously have massive self-esteem issues.

Military people who claim that they "rixed mah life far dis coontry" instead of admitting that they applied for a job killing sand-niggers so they could finally get some respect and self-discipline. (Read: did it for themselves, not anyone else)

Managers who think that I should call them Sir and not raise my voice/swear when talking to them.

People who serve green beans/peas/broccoli/etc. without offering ketchup on the side.

Restaurants that add gratuity automatically.

I cant stand folks who ask too many questions. I mean, I respect your quest for knowledge but go read a fucking book and shut up already. It's worse when it is the same question over and over.
It's like because they didn't get the answer they wanted the first time people expect that they'll get it the 7th time.

A certain amount of question asking is expected in getting to know people but if we've already gotten past initial small talk and you are asking question after question for hour straight it begins to feel more like interrogation than hanging out.

"over exaggerate"

redundancies in general, but that one always pisses me off.

I remember some yogi/guru/business-strategy/success/self-help type dude was saying "You can never ask too many questions" and really emphasized it.

I thought "gee I wonder how he would feel if someone followed him around all day asking one after another until he wanted to choke the person, I doubt he would show his staged inner patience."

My biggest pet peeve is when my wife calls me at 7am to tell me the car is broke down on the side of the road with smoke pouring out of it, then we have it towed to find out it's going to cost 1200 bucks to fix and i have to call my father in law to ask for a loan to fix it.
