Good Morning Pub!
Hope all is well today. I just woke up and am ready for a day of productivity. I'm going to work out, go to campus, get my work done, get high, eat some delicious shit, hang out with glorious friends, enjoy this beautiful day, look at some interesting shit, learn some fascinating shit, avoid some undesirable shit, and love every second of it

I dont know what I should do today.
I have memory problems and have to write everything down that I was meant to do or I forget it. I lost my planner and cannot remember shyte of what was in it.

I have a job interview today at 2:00. I was told that I pretty much have the job already, but I'm still nervous. It's the first one I've been to in almost 5 years. Wish me luck shroomery!

Do you have something sever like anterograde amnesia or just really bad memory?(not a medically/ psychologically diagnosed problem)

Well basically my mind sorta "resets" ever 25 minutes or so and thats usually most of what I remember other than flashbulb memories of old stuff that come at random. I love forums like this for the permanence of my thoughts/words. Its like I can capture that which I would never be able to.
All of my thoughts, everything I say will be forgotten; but here it is recorded.
My workspace is always covered in lists so I can remember things, otherwise I'll forget it in 5 minutes, 25 minutes TOPS. The only way I can keep things in my head is to loop them over and over, otherwise I move onto something else and it is forgotten.
I wish I could find a substance or meditation that would allow me to read my subconscious recorded mind like normal people seem to.

I don't know what I would do with myself if my memory was this bad. Ever see a doc about it man?

Wow that must really be tough. I feel for ya man. You must not even know what its like to have a normal memory. How do you study for tests? Also do you have trouble remembering people like family members or friends or is it just hard to remember people you are just getting to know?
So when you talk to people on the shroomery that you have chatted with many times, are you not even aware of that you know them?

I havent( no health insurance). It started happening after I first dropped acid and got progressively worse over the years.

I think I worded it wrong.
I do not have alzheimers.
I can remember people- who they are but I cant remember what they do/said.
I can read a whole book and Ill remember the gist of it, but I would not be able to give you a synopsis. Similar for a movie, I could tell you the rough plot, but I could not write a detailed chronological account.
I never studied for tests when I was in school, I usually went with my intuition and what I "felt" was the right answer.
I think the problem isnt so much that I dont have the memory but it is disordered or "lost" in a back bin. Events are a tough one. I could not tell you my father's or brother's exact birthday but a ballpark guess.
I remember "November 6" having some sorta appointment or there was an event something I was supposed to go to but I cant remember what it is or when it was unless I have a written calendar in front of me.
