I've been up all night and I have a 9 hour shift at 12. Godamn. In all honesty though, this is the start of a good week.

I never understood why somewhere sunday is the first day of the week. Over here, it's the last one. I think it's logical that way. Weekend is Sat+Sun. First work day is monday.

We work it like that here as well. Generally. My workplace however(grocery store), has decided to do all of its scheduling starting on sundays. That, and I tend to work night shifts (except sundays).
I get to walk home from work to a sunrise every weekday, it's nice. I get back from work, read up on a few things for an hour or two, then hit the sack.

You don't have to be broke. Just buy cheap wine and all will be well. At least it is for me, usually. $9 for 4 liters of wine at 12% alcohol content.

wow, first time in a long time that i didn't start this thread! had a wonderful evening yesterday, drinking in a cafe with a lot of friends, then coming back here, drinking whisky and dancing around in my garden. only crappy thing was - i let a friend in to my flat to sleep for a while, and when i left, i left my keys on my kitchen counter. tried for some long ass time to wake her up by banging on the wall, to no avail - finally one of my roomates woke-up (really pissed off, but he has too much sand in his vag anyhow) and let me in so i could get my keys. now i wake up at 17:20 (whoops!), and am thinking about making myself some dinner or whatever the hell this meal would be...

i saw him playing with crazy horse in '03, and was surprised to see how much he still rocked for an old-timer. really, my favourite work that neil young has done was with Crosby Stills and Nash... but he is one of the few artists out there who has consistently released gems, time after time, without ever faltering!

Ah man I'd kill to see Neil live..he definitely seems to still be able to bring the rock. I remember when he performed with Pearl Jam and they played Keep on Rockin' in the Free World...that was the first time I was exposed to Neil Young and I thought, man that old guy is COOL!
I've never really listened to CSNY...ever.

-------------------- Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake. -Erik Davis
