Illegal Mushroom Investigation

Odessa, Texas - Odessa Police are forced to call hazmat while making a drug bust in West Odessa.

Police say it happened at around 11 this morning at 871 avenue "F" in West Odessa.

Officers found what they call the "early stages of cultivating" Psilocybin or illegal mushrooms.

Hazmat was also called to the scene to deal with possible bacteria associated with cultivating mushrooms.

The resident was arrested for unrelated marijuana charges.

The investigation continues whether charges will come for cultivating illegal mushrooms.

i want them to do a bust on Shiitakes someday.  Would they call in hazmat then?

Or i wished i was part of that hazmat so i can laugh at this and refuse to waste my time cleaning up mushies... unless i could keep a few cultures... evidence of course :malamute:

Haha! Last week in my town the police raided a family's home due to a suspected meth lab.  Yes, HAZMAT suits and all...


They were fermenting homemade wine.  Paranoia is at an all time high.

I wonder how they got a search warrant for this.  I wonder if they were buying certain chemicals online that got them busted.  Perhaps the same chemicals that people use to extract DMT or mescaline...
