Question about the amount of a spore syringe/innoc

So, I just realized I have a LC that was frozen in the refrigerator, not sure if it is going to work, but I also have a ocuple syringes with about 4 ccs each in them, so I know I can knock up WBS with a 1/2 a cc, can I got any lower than that or will it be pointless? The good news is I could make a lc with a spore print I have, or from the syringe, it just scares me becuase i haven't had anything too successful from my lcs yet... anyways... what's the little you can use?

in a jar 1/2cc
in a lc  1or 2 drops or just a few spores from a print

Ok, so a 1/3rd a cc wouldn't be worth it... I have 24 jars, so I guess I'll have to make some lc..... is it pretty easy to mess up when doing it from a print?

not really what LC you use? i have always used karo not a problem yet and you can use 1/3 but will be slow to germinat if at all.

Well if your doing Print to LC I would def recommend using a glove box. It could contam pretty easy in the open

Yeah, I have a nice tote I was going to make a still air box out of. I use karo too, it's the easiest for me, honey irritates me...

Yea stick to a 4gram of karo to 100mls of water and PC for 20 min you will be fine

i keep mine at 4% sugar contant  some karo is differant depending on were you live

Which kind of karo do you use? I used the regular kind, Karo brand i guess

I use Crown lily white corn syrup works perfect every time :thumbup:

Found in most grocery stores

I've inoculated quart jars of grain with a 1/4cc without problem; maybe a couple or few days slower. 

Just inoculate a jar or dilute what remains in the syringe with more water.  I have yet to under inoculate a jar. :thumbup: ~P~

I have no logs as work LC's.  I just add 4 grams of the lily white corn syrup per 100mls of water then PC it for 20 min take off the heat let it cool down in the PC for a few hours then when its all cooled down innoc wait 14 days then use..

Swirl/shake the LC every day

Ok, sounds good, thanks for the help I'll give it a while, hmm, i like the idea of dilluting, how should I go about that, boil a jar of water? use some alcohol soaked cotton over the top of a whole in the jar go in it and suck up some water?

Just add 4 grams of karo into the jar then add 100mls of water build these lids
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/10628004 put them on the jars and PC for 20 min wait till cooled then innoc with the spores. wait 14 days then suck up the LC in the syringe
