I agree, I started with 6 jars and I got so bored sitting there staring at them (just kidding) that I started 6 more 3 days later.
Umm I am alittle questionable about the rules on this site... I read most of the rules and stuff but it doesn't seem like anyone follows them... Seems like a pretty layed back forum. So if this is a noobie method what is a better one? I heard about rye seed and stuff and how you can use one jar to make 10 more and so on if your really bored lol.
Also what are the legalities of mushroom cultivation? The shop I bought my spores from said it is totally legal here and that only bagging and selling them is illegal... anyone know anything about that?

Yea what country you live in that a vendor told you this i live in a totally laid back country and would never hear anything like this

How long do you think I should expect to wait if you don't mind me asking? I have read up to 3 weeks before seeing anything and I have also read that I should see something within 3 - 5 days...

3-5 days is really quick i would suggest if you dont see myc within 10 days start some new jars with a different spore supply

Ok so setting out where I live is probably not a good idea if this is in fact illegal where I live... I am not in the US but just so I know where are there country's that this is illegal and do they actually do anything about it... I mean its just mushrooms lol

I am from Canada too. Ha. I got my spores from a highly recommended supplier and when I asked the girl she said it is totally legal so I'm not worried one bit.

I am starting to think I should have gone with rye seed... I have been browsing the forums for a day or so and I any seeing that rye is showing colonization within 3 days :0 I have been watching my pf jars for almost a week now with no signs of anything. I am going to head out and look into some lc and rye seed today and get another syringe. What is the max you have ever had to wait to see anything happen in a pf-tek cake during incubation at 81f?
