Top one looks like amanita muscaria var. persicina that I also find in Ga alot. characteristics are growing in the southeast and sometimes lacking the veil and rings on the base when mature.

i thought i remember a friend saying that eastern box turtles live in a 750 foot zone. They travel a very short distance from where they are born. I cant find anything to back this up though.

I think all the green ones are good to eat.  I'd still taste it first to make sure its not peppery.
