Late flush, safe to eat? *pics*
    #1123339 -

I had to leave my cakes unattended during the week of Thanksgiving and they became very dry. One cake surprised me earlier this week and started growing mushrooms. I had one other cake that yieled a few mushrooms and produced a small but pleasent trip. I think its all blue, not green on the cakes, so are they safe to eat?

Thanks!

That blue is nothing more than bruising. Eat 'em up!

Do you think there is any chance of the others pinning/forming mushrooms? They've been in the chamber for about 3-4 weeks now, but show no signs of contams.

Why don't you try dunking and cold shocking them? If they're not contaminated they should flush, Those cakes aren't spent yet.
