Habitat - pasture with copses of trees in the Texas hill country, around 1500 ft above sea level. growing in cow dung
Gills - light gray/brown, attached? gills
Stem - 2 in. long, .5 cm diameter, brown, slippery, breaks easily, hollow, thin
Cap - 3/4"-1" in diameter, tan/white, soft, smooth, conical, concave
Print color - dark brown/black (as you can see from the picture, they're not exactly clean, which may or may not have caused the print color to be darker?)
Bruises gray

Growing directly IN cow dung?
Please take a spore print (the left one looks like it will print nicely). Use aluminum foil to print. Let the caps sit on the foil for at least 6 hours, better 12, with a cup placed over it to prevent the cap from drying out.
