evil dead and evil dead 2 are like off shoots of the movies army of darkness

Army of Darkness IS Evil Dead 3.

Evil Dead was originally a serious, albeit low budget movie, but turned into a cult classic that spawned the FANTASTIC Evil Dead 2.

Army of Darkness was the new school attempt to capture the old schoool Evil Dead vibe (and continue the story of Evil Dead 2), and it was also great!

Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi are awesome. :yesnod:

for absurd humor and gore factor, i gotta mention Peter Jackson's Braindead (original title)/Dead Alive (USA title).

the first half was a bit boring for me.  but once the zombies come out in full force, it's quite entertaining.  also, could have something to do with the fact that i was sober when i started watching it, and blazed as fuck 30 minutes in.  but seriously, he uses a lawn mower.  it's spectacular.

Dead-Alive and Evil Dead 2 are two of my favourites.

Dellamorte Dellamore is good too, it's really bizarre.
