Zombieland

Just saw it about an hour ago. It was a pretty decent film. And I know there are other posts about this but they are 4-5 pages back so fuck it.
What I don't get is some people comparing it to Shaun of the Dead. What the fuck. It was good for some laughs, but it doesn't hold a candle to SOTD. Not even close
I really hate to say it, being an American and all, but British humor has so much more depth.
Anyways. Zombieland was a good flick, but the whole time I was wondering why they they didn't raid a gun store and grab a few AR-15's. They seemed to prefer shotguns.
But the point of this thread is that it was nowhere near as good as Shaun of the Dead.

I thought it was fun movie.
It really liked how it turned into a shooting gallery when Talahassee was on the roller coaster. Woody Harrelson has redeemed himself in my eyes.
I didn't find near so much entertainment in Shaun of the Dead.

That's American humor. It's easy to laugh at. It doesn't require much thought.
That kind of reflects upon the American people, doesn't it.

recognizing it as funny can take some time. otherwise you might think they are acting rationally.
We are at the mercy of their bullshit.
and i liked the movie. I thought it could have used some more depth, but woody did an alright job.

Ya I think the acting was fine. The story line started out alright, but then it just kinda dissolved into some sort of amusement park clusterfuck. Bill Murray way great though.
BTW I was probably laughing the hardest in the theater, but then again I was probably the most drunk.

Well, I went into it with next to no high expectations, and walked out very much satisfied.
I thought the plot was pretty retarded. In no way is this a plausible take on the zombie apocalypse. Zombieland probably satisfied me because the people who made it knew it was retarded and made the movie accordingly. It all worked out pretty well.
Does anybody else remember when he attacked that reporter in the airport and claimed that he mistook him for a zombie?

I did not enjoy this movie at all.
"Feel good" as in over produced, cheesy big time hollywood, happy times, please the entire mass, crap.
I watched infestation last night.......pretty much the same premise. Feel good zombie/bug monster movie.
