Will my mycelium be successful?

Hey Shroomery,
I've always read the forums and the cultivation faq but I decided if I want to be a true shroom grower I need to join the community. So anyway, I've been trying to grow shrooms for a few months now, with my first few failing (due to not following correct procedures). But I currently have 1 jar colonizing. The only thing that concerns me is that only 1 side of the jars spores started colonizing. Is it necessary for 2 mycelium to meet in order to have mushrooms, or can 1 inoculation point colonize the whole jar and be able to grow mushrooms.

it is fine you can inoculat just 1 hole if you want it is just the other way is faster colonization wich is less time to contaminate. good luck

the pf tek takes a while
if the spots never grow, something went wrong
doesnt mean though that they wont grow at different times
