Found in an ivy patch next to a house, most of the ivy is all dead and just dry vines but theres still some alive there. Lots of Agaricus xanthodermus growing in this yard. I just found these two of these, was wondering if they might be edible. No staining or anything like that and i cant really see the gills but when i peak in there its just white. Also in the last one notice the ring i peeled off the margin, dont know if that means anything just thought id note it. alos there was a lot more of the brown shaggy stuff on the cap but it stuck to my fingers and peeled off on the walk home.

This one i found a couple weeks ago in a cowfield, not growing out of dung, i dont even think it had anything to do with dung, just growing out of the ground. Its got a reddish cap and its heart shaped. The spore print was white and it kind of smelt like fermenting fruit, or pumpkins sorta.

Really?! Surely these are shaggy mane? I had a feeling but this would be my first time finding an edible so im excited but also weary. Cant wait to try it ^_^.
